About

‘Unsoed Intercultural Summer Camp’ (UIS) is a one-week cultural activity offered by Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed), Purwokerto, Central Java – Indonesia. UIS provides students, especially overseas students, the opportunity to observe as well as learn the local wisdom and agriculture of Banyumas Regency. Participants will also be introduced to Bahasa Indonesia and Banyumas traditions (art and literature).

Participants & Fees
We invite both local and overseas students who are able to communicate using the English language.
The fee is USD350 which covers tuition, excursion, and local accommodation. All fees are nonrefundable.

Transportation
Participants should be responsible for their travel expenses to/from Purwokerto.

Accommodation
UIS committee will provide a standard room in a hotel (bed, air conditioner, desk, internet access, breakfast).

Visa
Participants from ASEAN and other countries which have visa exemption arrangements with Indonesia may not be required to obtain a visa but should confirm actual requirement with the nearest embassy or consulate of Indonesia in their home country.
Participants from countries which do not have visa exempetion arrangements should contact the nearest embassy or consulate of Indonesia in their home country to determine visa requirements.
