Struktur Makroskopis Dan Mikroskopis Sistem Urinaria Pada Ular Welang (Bungarus Fasciatus) Dan Ular Pelangi (Xenopeltis Unicolor)

Sinopsis Skripsi

Ular dapat digolongkan kedalam beberapa kelompok berdasarkan habitatnya, antara lain ular terrestrial yang hidup di tanah atau daratan, ular akuatik yang hidup di daerah perairan, ular fossorial yang hidup di dalam tanah, dan ular arboreal yang hidup di pohon. Setiap habitatmemiliki karakteristik lingkungan yang berbeda, sehingga ular perlu beradaptasi terhadap habitattersebut, baik secara anatomi, fisiologi, maupun perilaku. Perbedaan habitat pada ular menimbulkan perbedaan pada sistem urinarianya. Perbedaan habitat juga menyebabkan perbedaan proses material yang akan dieskresikan. Organisme terestrial perlu mempertahankan air dalam tubuh secara efisien sedangkan organisme akuatik perlu mengatur masuknya air. Pada penelitian ini akan dikaji struktur makroskopis dan mikroskopis ular Welang, yang  (Bungarus fasciatus) mewakili habitat terrestrial,dan ular Pelangi (Xenopeltis unicolor), yangmewakili habitat semiakuatik.

            Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara  purposive random sampling. Sampel diambil diarea persawahan di sebelah timur Kampus Fakultas Biologi Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Organ urinariaular Welang dan ular Pelangi dievaluasi dengan pembuatan preparat mikroskopis menggunakan metodeparafin danpewarnaan HE (Haematoxylin-Eosin). Data penelitian berupa gambaran makroskopis dan mikroskopis sistem urinaria, meliputi ginjal dan ureter, dianalisis secara deskriptif.

Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ginjal ular Welang dan ular Pelangi terletak di rongga coelom ekor. Struktur makroskopis ginjal pada kedua ular tersebut serupayakni berbentukmemanjang, berlobus, berwarna merah kecoklatan, dan memiliki permukaan halus. Strukturmikroskopis ginjal terdiri atas tubulus proksimal, tubulus distalis, glomerulus, Kapsula Bowman dan Bowman’s Space. Ureter ular Welang dan ular Pelangi menyatu dengan ginjal bagian posterior dan memanjang ke arah caudal. Ureter pada B. fasciatus berbentuk memanjang dan berwarna putih kemerahan. Struktur mikroskopis ureter terdiri atas komponen  lumen. lapisan epitel, lamina propria, lamina muskularis dan lumen.

 

The snake can be classified into several group based on the habitats.There are terrestrial snakes which live on the soil or land, aquatic snake which live at the waters, fossorial snakes which live in the soil, and arboreal snakes which live at the trees. Each habitat has different environment characteristics, so that the snakes need to adapt to these habitats anatomically, physiologically andin their behavior. The difference of snake habitats make the difference ofthe excretion process of material and their urinary system, that includes ren, ureter, and cloaca. Terrestrial organism need retain water inside the body efficiently, while aquatic organism need to regulate of entry water. This study evaluated the macroscopic and microscopic structre andof Banded Kraits snake (Bungarus fasciatus) that representsterrestrial habitat,and Sunbeam Snake,that representssemiaquatic habitat.

The aims of this research are to studies macroscopicand microscopicstructure of Banded Kraits Snake and Sunbeam Snakeurinary system. This study used survey method with the purposive random sampling technique. The snakes were widly captured from the rich fieldson theeastern part of the Biology Faculty Jenderal Soedirman University. Urinary organsof Banded Kraits Snake and Sunbeam Snake were prepared histologically with paraffin method and stained with Hematoxylin-Eosin (HE). Data were analyzed descriptively, included the photo micrograph.

The results of this study indicated that the rens of the Banded Kraits snake and the Sunbeam snake were located in the caudal coelomic cavity, with the right ren situated more cranial than the left ren. Ren morphology of these snakes were similar, which was elongated, lobulated, red-brown color and smooth texture. The microscopic structure of ren was consisted of proximal tubules, distal tubules, glomerulus, Bowman’s Capsule, Bowman’s Space. Ureter morphology of these snakes fused with the posterior of ren and elongated to caudalUreters of of Banded Kraits snake and Sunbeam snake are elongated and red-white color. The microscopic structure of ureters was consisted of lumen, epithelium, lamina propria, lamina muscularis.
