Abstract

Kerusakan pada berbagai perkebunan teh di Indonesia seperti yang terjadi di PTPN IX Semugih Kabupaten Pemalang antara lain disebabkan oleh serangan tungau hama. Tungau hama menyerang tanaman teh sepanjang tahun dan intensitasnya meningkat pada musim kemarau. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan pola pencaran populasi tungau hama pada berbagai waktu dan klon tanaman teh. Metode yang digunakan yaitu survei dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara acak. Penentuan pengambilan sampel pada lokasi penelitian menggunakan metode acak. Sampel berupa daun teh diambil sebanyak 25 daun teh pada bidang pemeliharaan. Pengambilan diulang sebanyak 4 kali, dengan interval waktu 1 minggu di pagi, siang, sore, malam dan dini hari. Pengambilan daun teh dilakukan di pagi hari pukul 07.00 – 09.00 WIB, di siang hari pukul 11.00 – 14.00 WIB, di sore hari pukul 15.00 – 17.00 WIB, di malam hari pukul 21.00 – 00.00 WIB dan dini hari pukul 03.00 – 06.00 WIB. Materi yang digunakan adalah tungau hama hasil sampling setiap klon tanaman teh. Seluruh daun teh diperiksa dibawah mikroskop stereo dan dihitung jumlah tungau hama yang ditemukan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptifuntuk menentukan nilai rata-ratakepadatan tungau. Data pendukung yang diamati antara lain temperatur, kelembaban udara dan curah hujan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan membuat histogram waktu (pagi, siang, sore, malam dan dini hari) pada sumbu absis (x), kepadatan tungau hama pada sumbu ordinat (y). Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa pencaran populasi tungau hama pada pagi, siang, sore, malam dan dini hari membentuk fundamental nichedan realized niche pada tiga klon

 

Damage to the tea plantations in Indonesia as in PTPN IX Semugih Pemalang partly due to the mite pest attack. Mite pests attacking tea plants throughout the year and increased in intensity during the dry season. The purpose of this study was to determine the scatter pattern pest mite populations at various times and tea clones. The method used is a survey with a random sampling technique. Determination of sampling at the study site using a random method.Samples taken in the form of tea leaf tea leaves as much as 25 in the field of maintenance. Making repeated 4 times, at intervals of 1 week in the morning, afternoon, evening, night and early morning. Intake of tea leaves is done in the morning at 7:00 to 9:00 pm, in the afternoon at 11:00 to 14:00 pm, in the afternoon from 15:00 to 17:00 pm, in the evening at 21:00 to 00:00 pm and early morning at 03:00 to 6:00 pm. The material used is a pest mite sampling results of each clone tea plant. The whole leaf tea is examined under a stereo microscope and counted the number of pest mites were found. Data were analyzed descriptively to determine the average value. Supporting data observed inter alia temperature, humidity and rainfall. Data were analyzed by making a histogram of time (morning, afternoon, evening, night and early morning) on the abscissa (x), the density of mite pests on the ordinate axis (y). The results of this study concluded that the scatter pest mite populations in the morning, afternoon, evening, night and early morning form a fundamental niche and Realized niche in the three clones.
